The Gods Must Be Crazy

Hi everyone! I watched a movie sometimes ago! The movie was very old but very funny. There was interesting scene to me.

That is about a man who looks like indian, his family dosen't have anything new. Oneday, a Cola bottle fall down from sky, they don't know about it, so they don't know how to use it. However, they create hiw to use the " Cola bottle". For example, a woman uses to cook, children uses as a instrument. It very useful, so it become popular. That is why, fightting happened between people who want to use the bottle. Because of bottle.
I was interested in this scene. Something new makes fightting! Very funny!

Fireworks!

Hi everyone! I'm going to talk about this week's fireworks!
I watched French and Japanese fireworks on Wednesday and Saturday. It was first time to watch the French fireworks! I was excited because  I felt like fireworks are very big!!






However, Japanese fireworks are nicer than France. I think that Japanese workmen had good choices! Good music, good sounds, beautiful formations. I wanted to cry, actually, I cried!! Because of excitement!! I can be proud, I love Japan! and also this fireworks made my Brazilian friends surprised! I was very happy!

I learned that Fireworks makes people happy:)

My class

Hi everyone! I'm going to talk about my class. Our class is almost finish, so I'm going to look back on this semester.


First, I could learn various things in this class. This is first time to study with foreign students in Canada, at the first, it was exciting to talk and make friends!! I could learn a lot of customs and ways of thinking...I could also learn that it is important to talk, don't be shy, through talking with them.



and, I also realized that Miheal is nice!! He always makes us happy and fun. In addition, he is very smart, he knows how to improve our English skill very well. That's why his lecture is easy to understand to me!! You are nice, Miheal!!






Thanks to you guys, I have a great time everyday, I'll miss you guys from next month:(

Weekend!!

Hi everyone! I talk about my weekend! How is your weekend?



On Thursday, I went to PUB NIGHT at Douglas College! It has a lot of pizzas and pops that FREE! ( We had to pay 3 dollars to beer ) We enjoyed eating some food and beer! Then my roommate who Brazilian woman introduced her friends to me!! They are friendly and gentle! They love music and dancing, they made me happy! I could get a lot of nice friends:)




On Monday, I went to Coquitlam campus that we're going to go from September as a class. It was long trip:( We met Micheal there! I wonder why....
After that,I played tag with  my host brothers. Usually, I don't take exercise and I'm lazy, so it became good exercise!!

After that, I called to my mother and my old sister! They are crazy, like me;) I love them! However, I came to miss family...anyway I'll do my best!!

My life was exciting so far. When I was an elementary shool student, junior high school student, and high school student, I was leading exciting everyday. However, there is exception. When I was a college student in Japan, I was repeating the same things everyday, nothing happend to me. I felt bored and uncomfortable.

That's why I think that I need something excitement that makes me excited!! I have to be excited to lead exciting life.

Movies!!

Hi everyone!! How was your weekend?
I had a great weekend so I'm going to talk about this weekend today.

Friday night, I watched a movie at Queen's park with Kinari and Mana.

We bought big big big popcorn for movie and shared! It was good! Lol
The movie's title was Ferris Bueller's Day off! Have you ever seen this movie?

   

Story was a young man pretended to be sick and missed class, and went adventure!
It was nice, I liked it:)

On Saturday, I went to Mana's house with Kinari, and we held SUSHI party. I missed SUSHI so it became good opportunity to have it. We also enjoyed to watch 2 movies!! These were "MASK" and " Toy story".
MASK is my favorite movie!! I recommend it, so if you watch this movie, you can absolutely enjoy it!!

Regrets

Hi everyone! How is it going on? Today, I'm going to talk about my three regrets!!

 Do you have any regrets? I have many regret, so I want to talk to you!

First, when I was a junior high school student, I didn't like to study all subjects, so my school record was bad! When I was a high school student, I came to like to study, and tried to study hard! It was difficult because I didn't study when I was the junior high school student. That's why, I regret, if I studied hard, it was easy to study when I was the high school student.

Second, When I was a high school student, I belonged to a brass band club, we set out to go to national competition, but we could not go. If I tried to practice more, I might went to there. 

Final is having spoke Japanese in the class. I spoke Japanese much, but I didn't care then. However, I realized that is important to speak English because it's going to be practice for speaking English, also I realized that it involved with my school record. That's why I regret.

Finally, I could learn that is important to do my best  when I had these experience.

I want to say to me... 

" DO MY BEST!!!!"

Wonderful Canada day

Hi everyone! How are you? Today, I talk about Canada Day!


I worked as a volunteer with Mana, Kinari, Hikari, Haruki, Ryosuke at the Coquitlam Campas. Then we did face paint, it was difficult for me:( but I was happy, because I could see many happy face:)

After that, we went downtown, and watched fireworks!! It's also great!! but, at the same time, I missed Japanese fireworks:( It is very nice, I think it is high level around the world.

    

Finally, I thought it is wonderful to celebrate own country's celebration. I wonder If there is Japanese anniversary, probably Japanese people don't celebrate like Canadian people.....

That's why, I thought that Canada day is great day!!!

My Host Brother

Hi everyone! Do you have brother or sister? Today, I talk about my host brother!

My host brothers are twins:) Alexander and Demitri, their personalities and faces are different!!
Alexander is full of curiosity, and he likes mischief.
However, Demitri is shy and shyness:) First, I was surprised!! I love them.

  



we usually play tag, and hide and seek, I'm always it( person who find out them )  They really like them, I also like!! However, sometimes I become tired:( When I have to study, it's very very hard....

Sometimes, they pretend many animals and hero, for example, bird, elephant, superman and lion.
These are sooooo cute!!:)

Always they make me happy!! I love you so much!!

I think family is important for me.

Granville Island

Hi everyone!! How are you?

Where is your favorite place in Canada?


Week before last, I went to Granville Island with Kinari, Yui, Grace as a class for prepare for presentation!! Reason why I wanted to eat some desserts and some fresh fruits:) Lol

It had a lot of fresh fruits, vegetables, some desserts. I love something sweets, so then I was excited!! That's why we had desserts, pizza:) Next, we did survey, we asked some question to some people who speak English . They were very kind and looked happy:)
After that, I felt so happy to live here!!

My favorite musical

Hi everyone! Do you like to watch musical? I like musicals, so I talk about my favorite musical today!

I have watched musicals many time. In that, my most favorite musical is Wicked!! Do you know Wicked? This is untold another OZ.

June 29, I watched Wicked in downtown with Mana. This is third time to watch this musical to me, but this is first time to watch in English, so it was exciting!!
After watched, I thought that there is a difference between Japanese Wicked and Canadian Wicked. Then I realized that is reaction of guests!! In Japan, they watch it calmly, but Canadian people are not quiet, sometimes, they we're laughing !! I love it:)
I want to watch again !!

I had a good weekend!


Thursday, Elvis( Host father's sister's dog! ) was coming, because his owner is going to home country as vacation. That's why, we keep Elvis for 6 weeks. He is smart, but he doesn't like other dogs, so if he hears a other dog's bark, he also barks.

He always makes us happy.


Friday, Marcelle ( My roommate ) and Mana and me went to Queen's Park and watched " FROZEN". This is my favorite movie!!

Queen's Park gives opportunity of watching movies during the summer, it has many popular movies, and that is going to be held at Queen's Park stadium every Friday.

If you have free time, I recommend it!! Don't forget your blanket then:)

Communication Breakdowns

Hi! everyone!
Today,  I'm going to talk about Communication Breakdowns and my experience.


When I forgot cellephone on a bus, I was surprised, and took other bus, and asked driver " Did you see a cellephone?", but it was not found then. After that, I called a bus company in a hurry. Then I was confused, so I could not understand that conversation clearly, in addition, I could not speak English well then. If it happend in Japan, I might understood, and probably could solved this problem. That's why, I thought studying English is important if  we live in foreing country, I should come to apply to there language.


I think this experience became good opportunity for my studying English!!

Making New Friend

Hi everyone! How are you?
I talk about how to make friends.

If we arrived at new city and a school, it is exciting! We become want to make many new friends, and then, we will be nervous. However, we don't need to worry about this. I think it will be naturally. If I make friend, I will do a action. I will talk with person next to me, then don't forget to be smile;)

My favorite festival

Hi everyone!! Today, I talk about my favorite celebration. I think Japan has not many celebrations, my most favorite celebration is TANABATA MASTURI, have you ever heard? I introduce. TANABATA MASTURI is annual festival and it is held in July seventh. It celebrates about a couple of Hikoboshi and Orihime. Long long time ago, they fell in love and got married but then they were always thinking each other too much. Finally they became don't work. That's why sky god got angry and made a milky way and separated between they, so they meet once a year. This is TANABATA's story. Today, decorate the bamboo and make a wish. It is held around Japan.

My Pet Peeve

Hi everyone!! Today, I talk about "Pet Peeves"!!


1) It drives me crazy when I'm in the crowded train.
2) It bugs me when I change the train at Shinjuku station.
3) It bugs me when the classroom is noisy.
4) It drives me crazy when I smell the smoke of the cigarettes.
5) It bugs me when the bus is not coming correctly.
6) It bugs me if my schedule does not advance on schedule.
7) It drives me when I found spider in my room.
8) It bugs me when my host brother fight.
9) It buds me when Disney resort is crowded.
10)It bugs me when I watch a movie at the cinema if there is a tall man in front of me.


I wrote 10 my pet peeve but I'm not irritated after coming to Canada.
I think this reason why people are tender and kind. I love to live in Canada!!

An accomplishment

Today I talk about an accomplishment when I was in high school.

I belonged to the bｒass band and as a skill's reader. I tried to improve my band's skill everyday. It was so hard. I thought about how dose it improve and tried many plans. In my third year of high school, we couldn't go to the national meeting. We felt down. However we took wonderful chance that we hold a cocert in Carnegie Hall as the Japanese delegates. We practiced hard again. Finally, the hall was full of people and it was success and it became great experience and memory to me.


I leaned the thing that really matters is to never stop trying.

Polite

Hi everyone! Today, I write about polite in my countly. I think Japan has a lot of rules so I will talk about rules when we have meals today.

1. We should say 'Itadakimasu' before take meal.
2. We should not be noisy.
3. If you want to take other dishes and if that dish is not nere there, you should ask them that  ' Can you pass me that dish? '
4. We should have chopstick correctly.
5. We should say 'Gochisousamadeshita' after take meal.

These are so difficult but this is Japanese custom. It can be proud. I love Japanese customs :)

Good weekend !!

    Hi! my name is Nanami and Japanese girl. I'd like to study various things in Canada and I started this blog;) Today, I talk about last weekend.

May 31, I went to night market with my friends. It was so fantastic because it was like Japanese OMATSURI!! We ate Takoyaki and potato and Korean food.

June 1, I went to the zoo with my host family.( sorry I forgot name ) We saw a lot of animals.

I was happy because I could see family's smile, after that we did BBQ with neighbor. It was so global! Canadian, Frenchwoman, four Greek, Brazilian Japanese!! and we played with water balloons, this is first time so I was excited but it was cold.
